Now Celebrating | Lane Crawford’s 160th

Lane CrawfordA customized T Magazine trench coat, for Lane Crawford
The Hong Kong-based Lane Crawford, Asia’s leading purveyor of all things luxury, is celebrating its 160 years of pioneering design by enlisting a small army of the store’s style-setting friends from around the globe to create special pieces in honor of the celebration. Customized one-of-a-kind Burberry trenches were created by 23 top fashion folks like Anna Della Russo, Simon Doonan, Milan Vukmirovic and Lane Crawford’s own gravity-defying fashion director Sarah Rutson, while eight antique Chinese Ming chairs were redesigned by the likes of Tom Dixon and Fornasetti. For the next 30 days, the Heritage 160 collection, as it is being called, is being sold off in an online auction to benefit Unicef. A store visit is also highly recommended in order to try on limited-edition reissues of iconic shoes from 13 top brands, including Jimmy Choo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Pierre Hardy and Christian Louboutin. It’s sure to be a birthday party not to be missed.
