Fashion is incredible. I really like it. I love to Marni in Manhattan streets, found a yellow wire skirt, and cost $600 million euros ($335), and you want to even more than I want a boyfriend.

Chatting to the label's saviour, Tamara Mellon, during the show, she told me: 'I am not worried about the recession at all. We have made sure our distribution is comprehensive and we have moved the label on. The proportions are more modern, the clothes are sexier.'
And the shoes are better? 'Yes,' said the woman who turned Jimmy Choo into a global brand. 'The shoes are much better.'
