What do Georgia May Jagger, Lindsey Wixson, and this season's Anais Pouliot all have in common? It's all about their perfectly shaped bee-stung lips, of course! The 19-year-old was originally discovered back in 2005 in her hometown of Quebec. Though she signed with Trump Models two years later, the buxom Canadian (especially in comparison to her Über-waifish peers) waited to model full-time until those joyous years of high school were over. Now that that's done, Pouliot has been making all the right moves in this industry, from a Miu Miu exclusive in Paris for fall 2010 to modeling for Prada and Miu Miu's resort presentations this past summer. In her second full show season, she started slow in New York, but quickly built up momentum overseas, walking for Christopher Kane, Marni, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and, once again, Prada and Miu Miu. This month, you can spot the pouty Frenchie in W magazine, shot by Paolo Roversi. And you will soon see her work with Terry Richardson, who no doubt played with her coquettish sex-bomb appeal. How did you find out?
I grew up, I often hear people I should think about becoming a model. I never even considered it - I more into sports! Finally, a summer of mom and dad took me to a agencies in Montreal immediately they signed me. And the rest is history.
You've been on the spot in 2007. What makes you go you the breakthrough to this year's race?
When setting up the model of my pursuit in the past few years, it has also been matched with my focus on finish my education. I feel a client today are looking for a model, is not only beautiful, but the mature. I was new, but experienced enough to give what the photographer.
Like most of memory and this season performances?
I can remember clearly in the background at chanel and thinking "wow" - no matter where my career, I am a cost me a major part of the fashion history! I feel very honored and try to remember every moment.
When you take a day off, like things?
I recently removed yoga classes and enjoy an hour a few times a week focusing on yourself. The job can make you tired, and also is very important to take care of your mind and spirit!
What scares you?
Spider! Seriously! You should listen to my scream.
Through your head what happens when you want to wear?
Usually, I the booker advice! She's always tell me the night before plan! A good thing about the travel shopping, you cannot be installed much, so I always have some key blocks in wearing clothes.
Do you have any other beyond the wish the modeling?
I think in the foundry work a day -- - I think I will not only is "eye" but love, let a models for its own light!
Tell us something we don't know.
I like to try new sports and new such as snorkeling and hiking! I also like cooking, when I have a nice kitchen and time. In addition, I an animal lover!
